Rakesh – Get your qualifications assessed by Engineers Australia. that will carry more weight than the skills solutions assessment. Start off by doing anything. Work as a volunteer if you have to, Go to a website called Volunteers Australia. Go bush to a remote area. You need to demonstrate you really want to work in Austral;ia and are prepared to do anything. Go back to the people who have rejected you and ask if they can help you by allowing you to work in a lesser level job, or for nothing. Have a look at you CV and have a answer to explain how your experience is applicable to Australian construction. Learn all about Australian workplace safety by doing the general construction safety induction (blue card) at a TAFE. Read the worsafe Queensland site from end to end. Get a job as a builders laborer (last resort).

I have some question about job ,whichone I want to share with you.I am an australian permanent resident.I lives in queensland.I have been in australia since 2008.I have 3years diploma in civil engineering from overseas.I attended some interview but the interviewer ask me show the australian local experience.Please tell me,how can I get the local experience if somebody doesnot give me first chance.My qualification/diploma assessed from skilling soloution queensland department .They assessed my qualification equivalent australian qualification/diploma.I have five years experience in construction field but at this moment,I couldn’t find any job in my field because of local experience.So please suggest me on this matter.
